By using AnyCheese you agree to these terms. They are short because the site is simple: it is a reference about cheese that you read for free.

What the site is for

AnyCheese publishes information about cheese types, cheesemakers, shops, pairings and rankings for general interest. We work to keep it accurate, but cheese names, recipes, milk treatment and aging vary by producer and by country, and details change. Check the label or ask the maker before relying on anything here.

Nothing on the site is medical or dietary advice. If you are pregnant, immunocompromised, allergic to milk, or otherwise need to avoid certain cheeses, follow the guidance of your doctor and the product label, not this site.

Suggestions and other things you send us

When you send a correction, a suggestion or feedback, you give us permission to edit it and publish it as part of the site, with no payment and no obligation to use it. Send only material you have the right to share. Do not send anything unlawful, abusive or misleading.

Affiliate links and purchases

Some links to shops are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you buy through them. The shop is responsible for the product, the price, delivery and returns. The Cheese Tasting Journal is a digital product sold through Gumroad, and Gumroad's terms apply to that purchase.

Using our content

The text, photos, data and design of AnyCheese belong to AnyCheese or its licensors. You may quote short passages with a link back to the page. You may not copy whole pages, scrape the site, or use automated tools to bulk download its content without written permission.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break into the site, overload it, interfere with other visitors, or use it for anything unlawful.

No warranty

AnyCheese is provided "as is". We do not promise that it is complete, accurate or always available, and to the extent the law allows we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, AnyCheese is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or your reliance on anything in it.

Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always at this address, with the effective date at the top. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
